Trainees interested in joining the Central North West Basic Physician Training Consortium at BPT1 (PGY2 Medical), BPT2 (PGY3 Medical) or BPT3 (PGY4 Medical) level are required to apply online to both the Postgraduate Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV) at https://app.pmcv.com.au/aps and also to the Austin Health and/or Northern Health recruitment websites at www.austin.org.au/careers/junior-medical/ or www.northerndoctors.org.au.
From 2022, Austin Health and Northern Health recruit separately at all three levels of BPT training. Exam preparation for the divisional written and clinical examinations continues to be shared across all consortium sites.
